Why: A cornerstone of the Bubser campaign launch was her pledge to fight for the conservation of the district’s natural resources and protection of its environmental treasures. Along with her commitment to reaching affordable and universal healthcare and revitalizing economic opportunity for all 750,000 residents California’s 8th is emerging as an increasingly strong Red to Blue opportunity. The health and economic impact of the Coronavirus pandemic on the 8th has further underscored the need to transform the economy and types of jobs could be established. Chris is committed to bringing clean tech opportunities to a district that by virtue of its environmental features is uniquely positioned to serve as a base for those types of jobs and an environmental beneficiary.
